iZombie: Fifty Shades of Gray Matter

CAPE TELEVISION CERTIFIED SPOILER FREE REVIEW™

A nice opening kill sets up the story of a frustrated librarian who writes erotica on the side. Once her death is ruled a poisoning by Hemlock, the coroner's office gets the case and gets to work. To solve the murder, Liv has a little gray matter and suddenly, she's channeling the porny librarian. (Ed: It's apparently a fact that 9 out of 10 frustrated librarians are sex-crazed nymphomaniacs). Inappropriate Behavior® ensues.

While under the influence of the hot brain-of-the-week, Liv bonds with the new bouncer in Blaine's crew. Speaking of, the noose tightens around our favorite villain as the FBI and Seattle Police start to piece together the end results of his astoundingly bad behavior. The weekly corpse gets a nice wrap up and send off as the players deal with the fall out of random sex. Easily the best of the comic book based television shows.

iZombie is on The CW, and on Hulu on your Roku.
