Our story starts with a dead real-life superhero in the back of a garbage truck. The discovery of the body provides a good break point in the ongoing relationship drama between Olivia and Major. The deceased man was a shop teacher than prowled the back alleys of Seattle as a real life hero who operated under the name of The Fog. And yes there are more than a few jokes about superhero names as the show rolls along.

On this episode of DC's Legends of Tomorrow, there are at least two capers and several beatings. It kicks off with a mission statement which needs to go away soon. Anybody still watching in Week 6 will have bought into the premise hard enough to ditch the exposition. This time around there is a gruesome ritual, a demonstration of the futility of trying to alter time and the Atom shrinks down small enough to enter the bloodstream of a teammate.

The local mad-scientist outfit, Isodyne, tries to wrap up the case by spoon-feeding clues to the local authorities. Then there is something called the Arena Club which is kind of like the Hellfire Club without the women or the kink factor.

The team, Team Tomorrow maybe, goes to an illegal arms auction with the goal of capturing and killing the immortal villain known as Vandal Savage. What follows is an awesome fight with great believable special effects. And that's just the first surprise of the night.
